I’ve always wanted to combine my two loves in life: motorsports and music
Before making the mod, I attempted to do a music themed racing event on NASCAR Racing 2003 Season. It was a little vision called the Little Nero’s Pizza Rock & Roll Cup Powered by Fat Bernie’s Pinball Palace, an NR2003 video series I wanted to do back in 2023.
Editor’s Note: The two sponsors came from movies. Little Nero’s Pizza being from Home Alone and Fat Bernie’s coming from Licorice Pizza.
However, several things got in the way and I lost passion in that project when timing became a burden. Thus, the project was scrapped the following year.
Fast forward to late February 2025, the vision of combining racing and music in a game began. With SledgeMods and 157 Studios providing a new lease on life to games such as NASCAR Thunder 2003 and NASCAR Thunder 2004, I wanted to throw my hat into the mod community.
When March came along, I began the 8.5 month-long journey of creating Rock & Roll Edition for Thunder ’03. From top to bottom, I created paint schemes for every single vehicle. Nearly all of them, from scratch!
Now, the grind is over and I’m proud to present you this mod!

For instructions on how to bring the mod to life, check out Sledge’s video! It’ll work the same way! As far as Dolphin Emulator and GC Rebuilder, Google it. They’re not hard to find them and how to install those!
Now that you’ve gotten the mod, I can say it’s been a long time coming for me to share this because I had to learn new things such as putting my creative brain into making fresh paint schemes. Even re-creating some of the paint schemes actual NASCAR drivers competed then and now.
Furthermore, make key edits to make this mod function and add some flare to assure a fresh experience in NASCAR Thunder 2003. More importantly, to live my fantasy of musicians becoming race car drivers in the virtual world!
