The work ethic speaks for itself, crafting together thoughtful written content that varies from everything from deadline race coverage to columns, but also including standout images with his stout photography. “From the time I met Luis is 2021, I could sense a distinct pride in his passion and an unwavering dedication to his craft. Fast forwarding to 2024, the same can still be said. However, the hunger to succeed and achieve his dream of becoming a sports journalist has strengthened tenfold with commendable work ethic. Whether it be photojournalism, written content, or anything in between, Luis has proven to be a world-class individual with the skillset to take him as far as he wants to go. Any outlet would be lucky to have someone like Mr. Torres a part of their team.”

“Having known Luis for over ten years, I know that he is a dedicated and persistent reporter, photographer, and videographer. I recognized his talent early on and he has grown into an award-winning photojournalist in the years since. Luis is quick to report on unique stories and unique data within the sports that he is working, some of which he is the only journalist following those stories week in and week out. Luis is someone that is always willing to help out when needed and one of the first to offer help to those that are struggling personally. I’m proud to call Luis Torres a friend and even more proud to see the kind of journalist, and more importantly, the kind of person, that he has become since I met him over a decade ago.”
— Seth Eggert, Statistician & Staff Writer of Steering Wheel Nation
“I’ve worked with Luis for a number of years in the motorsports journalism field and each and every time we have worked together, he puts his best foot forward and delivers on his work. Whether it be his photography or other journalistic endeavors, he’s definitely someone that can be counted on to get the job done.”
