EVERETT, Wash. — The undefeated Cascade Bruins faced the Meadowdale Mavericks at Everett Memorial Stadium Friday night.

In a mostly one-sided contest, the Bruins walloped he Mavericks 48-6. Out of the 48 points, 28 of them were scored in the first quarter alone. It wouldn’t be until the third quarter when the Mavericks finally put their only points on the board.

When the final whistle blew, Cascade improve their record to 7-0 with just two regular season games remaining. For Meadowdale, their 42-point loss is their largest of the season and dropped to 1-6.

The Bruins will next face the Cedarcrest Red Wolves next Friday at 5 p.m. while the Mavericks face the Everett Seagulls at 8 p.m. Both games will be held at Everett.
